The short version

Three fields, one purpose. If you send a name, a phone number and an email through richardsongaragedoorexperts.com, somebody rings you back about a garage door. Nothing gets added to a mailing list, nothing gets sold, and no advertising profile is built from your visit. The rest of this page is the detail behind that sentence.

Exactly which fields exist

The contact form asks for a name, a phone number and an email address. A zip code and a street address are optional, and they exist so the technician can find the property rather than circle a block off Belt Line looking for a house number. There is one hidden field on the form that a human never sees, which catches automated spam. Nothing else on this site asks you for anything at all.

What the server records on its own

The host logs ordinary web traffic data without being asked: an IP address, a browser and version, and which pages loaded in what order. That is how anyone runs a website. It is not tied back to the enquiry you submitted and it is not used to identify you.

How long any of it is kept

An enquiry stays around for as long as it takes to follow up on the job and honour whatever warranty came with it. Past that it has no purpose here. If you want yours removed sooner, ring and ask for it and it goes.

The one cookie

The banner on your first visit records a single value: whether you tapped accept or decline. Declining changes nothing about how the site behaves. There is no tracking pixel, no remarketing tag and no third-party advertising script anywhere on richardsongaragedoorexperts.com.

Third parties that touch a form submission

Cloudflare Turnstile screens the form for bots and Cloudflare delivers the site itself. The coverage map is embedded from Google and only loads if you click to open it, so on every other page Google is not involved. Each of those companies handles what it receives under its own published terms.

Texas residents

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives Texas residents the right to know what personal data a business holds about them, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to obtain a copy. It also gives you the right to opt out of the sale of personal data and of targeted advertising, neither of which happens here because neither is something this site does. To exercise any of those rights, call the number below and say so. There is no form to fill in for that.

Children

This is a garage door repair site for homeowners. It is not aimed at children and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 13.
